In the runtime of TIDE, several pilot projects were realised at the estuaries of Weser, Elbe, Humber and Scheldt (Table 21). The pilot projects primarily address a question of specific interest in view of the estuary they refer to, but they also provide results transferable to other estuaries of the North Sea region.
